The TLV5631IDWR is a low-voltage, buffered, current-feedback, digital-to-analog converter (DAC). It is designed using a proprietary dynamic element matching (DEM) process, providing excellent differential nonlinearity (DNL) and integral nonlinearity (INL) performance. It is ideal for small to medium resolutions in applications where small size and low dissipation are required.

The feature that strongly distinguishes the TLV5631IDWR is its unmatched combination of low power dissipation and wide bandwidth. At its low power/speed point, its dissipation is as much as 3 times less than competing devices. The device also offers a maximum power dissipation which is twice that of other digital-to-analog converters.

As a current-feedback device, the TLV5631IDWR offers excellent output compliance and wide bandwidth performance. The high-impedance current-feedback output amplifier helps to ensure low voltage offset, stable gain-bandwidth product, and excellent noise immunity to digital feedthrough. This device also features digital power-down capability, reducing power dissipation in idle modes.
