TransZorbTM diodes are a type of transient voltage suppressor (TVS) devices used for reliable, short–term protection against over–voltage and over–current situations. The TP5KP11A TVS diode is a unidirectional diode designed for surge protection, and is often found in automotive systems, communications equipment, and military applications.
