The TPS61073DDCR is a high-efficiency, highly integrated boost converter with current-mode control. It has a wide input voltage range and requires very few external components. The TPS61073DDCR is designed to operate from an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and provides a regulated output voltage of up to 5.5V. The TPS61073DDCR boost converter circuit consists of an input voltage regulator (regulator I) connected to the input voltage and an output voltage regulator (regulator II) connected to the output voltage. The two regulators are connected in series and are configured to maintain their respective output voltages regardless of variations in the input voltage. The first regulator, Regulator I, is configured to regulate the input voltage down to a level that is approximately equal to the output voltage, plus the dropout voltage of regulator II.
