When the input voltage U_in is higher than the output voltage U_out, the MOS, usually being a P-Channel MOSFET, will be turned on. The current flowing through the MOS will be added to this loop, which is called the switching current carried by the inductor L. When the inductor current reaches a preset current threshold, the MOS will be turned off, and the inductor current will transfer from the MOS to the output capacitor C_out, and the inductor radiate the energy stored in the inductor to the output capacitor. This is the Output Voltage Regulation Cycle.
At the same time, the loop control core will compare the voltage on the output coupling capacitor C_out with a reference voltage, adjust the ON time of MOS, and control the output voltage. The output voltage U_out will keep stable.
Subsequently, the frequency of the output voltage with C_out as the zero point is determined by the frequency of the loop regulation circuit.
