TPS65263EVM-645 is an evaluation module for Texas Instruments’ TPS65263 Digital synchronous buck regulator. This regulator utilizes a current-mode topology design which eases loop stabilization and reduces design complexity. TPS65263EVM-645 is a fully integrated solution for digital point-of-load applications, taking up less board area, having high efficiency, and being easy to design in. The evaluation module is contained in a 645 package, allowing it to be used in a variety of applications. The TPS65263EVM-645 has many uses, primarily as DC/DC or AC/DC (off-line) SMPS (switch-mode power supply). It is designed to work with input voltages of up to 16V and output voltages of 1.2V. It supports up to 20A of output current and has an integrated FET switch and gate driver. It also has an integrated MOSFET and flyback diode which offer improved system-level efficiency and reduce part count.
