Working Principle
An aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of an anode (positive terminal) made of aluminum foil covered with an oxide layer and a cathode (negative terminal) made of aluminum foil coated with carbon. The capacitor is powered by the energy in form of DC electric current. The positive side of the capacitor is connected to a power source, causing the current to flow through the capacitor.
