The UC3573N is a predictable current mode, fixed frequency, quasi-resonant-mode pulse width modulation (QR-PWM) switching regulator controller designed for switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) and general-purpose DC-to-DC conversion. The device operates in the predictable current mode that combines the attributes of traditional current-mode and voltage mode control. It includes built in slope compensation and pulse-width modulation (PWM) to prevent subharmonic oscillations that may occur when higher values of the output capacitance or inductance are used.
