A UCC3583DG4 represents a power supply controller, monitor, and regulator module, designed to provide noise-immune control over DC to DC power converter applications. It is an integrated, self-biased and high voltage CMOS device providing all the necessary functions for safe and reliable operation of power supplies in the Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) mode. The UCC3583DG4 module is an integrated, self-biased and high voltage CMOS device designed to provide protection against output over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit conditions. It can be used as a DC-DC converter, or as a regulator in applications where precision regulation is required. The device offers two levels of over-temperature protection (OTP1 and OTP2) that can reduce the voltage of the output to its reference voltage, while still providing the needed current to the output.
In order to use the UCC3583DG4 module, the user must first select an appropriate power supply for the application and then make the connection to the module.
