The ULN2003ADR2G is a monolithic high-voltage, high-current Darlington array built on a single silicon chip. It consists of seven open collector darlington pairs for each ULN2003ADR2G that can switch up to 500V and can drive up to 2A from each channel. Its high input impedance makes it useful for driving long cables without significant signal loss. This makes the ULN2003ADR2G well suited for driving relays, solenoidal valves, stepping motors and lamps.

The ULN2003ADR2G has seven Darlington arrays connected in pairs for each ULN2003ADR2G. Each of the Darlington arrays has its own Darlington transistor pair consisting of an NPN first transistor and an PNP second transistor. Each pair is used to switch high current and withstand up to 500V of the load. The ULN2003ADR2G also has an enable input, which is used to disconnect the supply voltage from all the outputs in order to save energy. The ULN2003ADR2G is available in two versions: 8-pin PDIP and 14-pin SOIC.
