This series has very low impedance and high ripple current capability which make it ideal for use in high current applications such as motor drives, Power Supplies, Industrial Control Equipment and Automotive electronics.The working principle of UMF0J470MDD is based on the same principles as all other aluminum electrolytic capacitors. It consists of two metal plates separated by a dielectric insulating layer. The metal plates are made of aluminum foil and the dielectric layer is a thin sheet of oxide. When voltage is applied, electrons move between the plates and form an electric field. This electric field stores energy and can be released when required.The UMF0J470MDD range offers several key features that make it unique from other aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
