Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are a type of capacitor that employs a form of electrolytic corrosion in order to create a permanent capacitive effect. They are one of the most common types of capacitors, and can be used in a wide variety of applications.

The UMT1C220MDD aluminium electrolytic capacitor is a one of the most versatile capacitors in the market due its robust construction and extreme versatility. It is rated for a 6.3V max voltage and a capacitance of 220μF. It is usually applied in AC/DC circuits and it works through the characteristic of the electrolytic corrosion which creates a permanent electric field between two metal electrodes that are immersed in a non-metallic solution.

The UMT1C220MDD has two types of operation: surface mount and through hole. On its external surface includes standard leads while its terminal is a lead screw, sufficient for secure wire connection and high resistance to soldering heat. The UMT1C220MDD utilizing a solid aluminium electrolyte which is installed between two solid electrodes to form two electric fields, that is formed by the chemical charge and the elecrical potential between its two components. The redistribution of electrons causes a redistribution of gravitation force around the capacitor, resulting in an electrostatic field. It can be used in DC or AC filters, AC power supply filters, radio transmitters and receivers, audio equipment, deflection coils, lamp ballasts or in mathematical formulas called laws of electrical bridges where its capacitor is tested in relation to resistors.
