The URZ1J330MPD is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor and it is usually used for DC blocking, coupling and bypass applications, as well as in filters, timing circuits and power management applications like portable electronics, cellular phones and other battery powered systemsThe URZ1J330MPD is a long life capacitor with a leakage current of under 0.2 XV which makes it a suitable choice for even the most demanding applications. It has a very high capacitance value of 330uF @ 10uA which makes it ideal for applications where a high level of electrical storage is required. The low ESR value of 0.45 ohms @ 10uA allows for a high ripple current rating of 2.1AR, ensuring the capacitor can perform under high transient loading. The URZ1J330MPD also features a long shelf life of up to 2000 hours and a maximum operating voltage of 16 volts.The URZ1J330MPD is a capacitance in an aluminum. When a voltage is applied across it, negative ions (anions) in the form of aluminum ions form on the anode and positive ions (cations) form on the cathode. This creates a potential barrier between the plates called an electric double layer. The resulting effect is that electric charges are stored between the plates and this is what is known as capacitance.The URZ1J330MPD is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor with polarised leads and it requires the correct polarity to be observed in order to function correctly. Internally, an electrolyte is impregnated in the dielectric material which in the case of the URZ1J330MPD is a chemical mixture of a conductive, wetting, and dielectric additive.
