Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, also simply known as electrolytic capacitors or aluminum capacitors, are electrochemical capacitors which have an aluminum anode with an oxide layer serving as the dielectric. They differ from normal capacitors in that they have much higher capacity than ceramic capacitors. The type UUG2E470MNQ6MS is an example of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor.
