| Working Principle |
| The X5043M8IZ-2.7T1 supervisor provides a versatile package of monitoring and protection functions. It monitors the system power supply, detects and reports various fault conditions, provides complete system shut-down, and it prohibits operations until conditions/voltage are restored to normal. |
| The X5043M8IZ-2.7T1 supervisor contains a central processing unit (CPU) that monitors the state of the power supply inputs, the temperature level and all fault conditions such as voltage spikes, current overloads and open circuit faults. The CPU then sends a notification of any detected faults to the host processor via the interrupt output. |
| The X5043M8IZ-2.7T1 also monitors the system power supplies, allowing the host processor to extract important information such as the system startup and shut-down sequence, battery levels, battery charging, and so on. This information is used to optimize and protect the system from faulty load conditions or unexpected temperature variations, thus ensuring system reliability. |
