The X5083PI-2.7A is a custom single-chip Microcontroller (MCU) Supervisor IC featuring the popular TPS3808G05, which is built on a PMIC - Supervisors platform and offers Fault Notification, Automatic Retry, and Adaptive Intimation (AFI). This device provides complete supervision of voltage, current, and system reset functions. Additionally, the X5083PI-2.7A also features a low power consumption, low jitter, and is protected against oven-stressing, brown-outs and ESD events. All these features make the X5083PI-2.7A an ideal choice for a wide variety of system level applications including automotive, industrial, medical, communications and power management.

The X5083PI-2.7A is designed to inform the system of a low power situation as it occurs by driving and latching an interrupt. The integration of a push-pull low dropout (LDO) with an adjustable voltage range allows the reset controller to be reset properly. The output voltage can be adjusted via an external resistor and can be used to trigger a reset during a supply power outage.
