The X5083V8I-2.7A PMIC - Supervisors is a low input voltage, 1.8V regulated voltage, voltage supervisor for supervisory applications. It offers accurate system monitoring and reset, independent of power supply, to ensure system stability and eliminate system crash. The power supply supervisor, which can be configured as rising or falling reset, integrates voltage protection and regulatory functions into a single IC, offering a cost effective solution for low voltage applications.

The X5083V8I-2.7A provides circuit protection for a broad range of system voltages. It offers 65 uA quiescent current and extremely low power consumption to enable power saving designs. It features an enable/disable pin for system power management, as well as an integrated delay timer with adjustable timeout period (2, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 ms) and a reset active signal to indicate when reset is active. It also includes a watchdog timer reset output to signal timeout events.

X5083V8I-2.7A uses a low-power controller optimized for regulating low power supply voltages. It includes an input voltage comparator that monitors a reference voltage while the device is enabled. The voltage is set by selectable resistor dividers. When an input voltage is greater than the reference voltage, the device is shut off and a reset signal is triggered. If the input voltage is lower than the reference voltage, the device is enabled and the system remains in its normal state.
