Working Principle

The X5083PZ-2.7 supervisor monitors the power supply input and the reset and power-good flag signals in order to determine the proper state at power on. The supervisor is constantly monitoring the power supply voltage with an internal voltage monitor. If the voltage drops below the reset threshold, the supervisor will issue a reset signal. This signal is sent to the reset inputs of the microcontroller and memory devices, forcing them into their reset state.
