Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDT) are designed to protect electrical and electronic equipment, systems, and networks from damage caused by transient overvoltage conditions. These devices are designed to absorb, conduct, and dissipate excess energy in the form of electricity or sound waves. This type of protection is important in protecting against not only power damage, but also from the potential for short- and long-term damage to the system.

2026-09-A1FLF is a type of GDT arrester which consists of a main component - a gas discharge tube, usually constructed on the surface of an insulating surface.
