Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDTs) are a device used to protect power equipment from damage caused by transient over-voltages. 2026-40-CF GDTs are high-current and low-voltage air gap discharge arresters used in many applications, including power systems, single-layer discharge arresters, and lightning arresters. GDTs do not require special maintenance and have an expected life of 10 to 20 years, depending on the application.
