Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) are two of the most common sources of noise in electrical systems. As a result, EMI/RFI filters are essential components in electronic systems and products that must operate in a noisy environment. Among the various EMI/RFI filters available, the 4609H-701-820/101L series of filters are specifically designed to provide high attenuation in the frequency range of 10MHz to 1000MHz.
The 4609H-701-820/101L is a two-pole, three-section LC (inductor and capacitor) filter designed to reduce high frequency noise and attenuate EMI/RFI generated by sources such as devices with high-speed clocks, switching regulators, motors, and other equipment. The 4609H-701-820/101L is typically used in applications where high attenuation of high frequency noise is required. The 4609H-701-820/101L filter consists of three inductors and two capacitors connected in series and then paralleled for higher current-handling capacity. The working principle of the 4609H-701-820/101L filter is based on the fact that an LC circuit has two types of vibration modes - a high-frequency one and a low-frequency one.
