Working Principle

The ACZRA4756-HF is a single diode with a flat reverse current region. In the Reverse Failure Region, the immediate reverse recoverable current starts to decrease sharply with the increase of voltage, and the sharp decrease will lead to a sharp change in the leakage current. This sudden change in current can be used as a trigger signal to carry out the temperature compensation. Moreover, the working principle of its fast recovery time is that with the increase in temperature, the leakage current increases, then the recovery time will be reduced, so that it can achieve fast recovery time.

When the ACZRA4756-HF is used in a circuit, the leakage current will be limited by the Zener voltage characteristic. When the reverse voltage is lower than the Zener voltage, the reverse current will not flow, but when the reverse voltage exceeds the Zener voltage, the reverse current will start to flow.
