The AD5744RCSUZ operates in two modes: single-ended and differential. The chip is capable of 16-bit resolution and has a settling time of 5μs for single-ended mode and 25μs for differential mode. As an additional feature, a voltage reference output (VREF) is provided to improve output accuracy.
In order to achieve low power consumption and maintain high accuracy, the AD5744RCSUZ uses a variable reference voltage system which adjusts the voltage scale of the output current by varying the external reference voltage. The external reference voltage can be changed by using a digital potentiometer. This allows for easy voltage changes without any additional hardware.
