The MEMS gyroscope in the ADIS16305/PCBZ is a microelectromechanical system device consisting of a micro-machined element that is used to measure angular velocity. The MEMS gyroscope senses rotational acceleration in the X, Y and Z-Axes and provides a digital output. The digital output provides the angular velocity on each axis in an easy to use format without the need for external signal conditioning.
