It combines features such as measurement accuracy, signal-to-noise ratio, low-power and size into a single component. It is an application designed to measure MEMs angular rate, linear acceleration and magnetic field measurements up to ±200°/s, ±2g and ±1000µT, respectively.Application Fields The ADIS16201/PCBZ is suitable for a wide variety of applications including self-leveling gyroscopes, joystick control, monitoring tilt and impact in automotive and portable applications, and controlling industrial and consumer motion sensing projects. It can be used to measure acceleration, angular rate and dynamic orientation in machines and vehicles and medical applications. It can also be used in low-cost instrumentation boards, data loggers and medical devices.Working PrincipleThe ADIS16201/PCBZ uses a combination of a digital micro-machined accelerometer and a digital micro-machined gyroscope to measure acceleration, angular rate and dynamic orientation. Its sophisticated signal processing software allows for the selection between different filtering and averaging options.
