The ADIS16364/PCBZ is a generic triple-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) designed for applications requiring reliable low-noise information from acceleration, rate-of-turn, and angular motion measurements. It is an ideal choice for applications ranging from aircraft and aerospace to unmanned land and sea vehicles. This application note details the working principle of the ADIS16364/PCBZ and its application field. When the ADIS16364/PCBZ is connected to a power source, its built-in microcontroller (MCU) activates the device circuitry, begins collecting process data from the integrated sensors, and performs all necessary calculations.
