The ADIS16477-1/PCBZ Evaluation Board implements a standard micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) package with a monolithic three-axis gyroscope, a three-axis accelerometer and a three-axis magnetometer. This board has an extensive suite of user-configurable parameters to enable accurate and reliable motion measurements and navigation in whichever application it is used.The board contains multiple internal circuits and components to ensure accuracy and reliability. One of the functional components is the MEMS sensor, which is mounted together with external passive elements to provide stabilization against vibration and environmental Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). The use of inductors and capacitors provides active noise cancellation and helps reduce power consumption. The board also contains multiple gateways and connections in order to easily connect the board to other systems and peripherals. It has SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN interface availability, as well as power source, battery, and ground connections, and also provides optional Ethernet and RS232 connections.The evaluation board is managed by a 32-bit Cortex-M4F processor, that provides comprehensive support for the MEMS sensors, accelerometers and gyroscopes on the board.
