AON7804 is a 4-channel full-bridge power switch array featuring low on-state resistance, fast and versatile turn-off, and excellent thermal behavior. It is designed to reduce power dissipation and eliminate the need for external paralleling of multiple switches in applications such as: Adjustable DC/DC converters, Stepper Motor drives, Motor Control, and High current, low voltage load switches.

The device integrates four artfully integrated power MOSFETs, with typical Ron of only 6.8 mΩ, into a single package which is specifically designed for two-switch buck and boost converters. It is optimized for fast switching and high efficiency during operation. The device also integrates a low voltage and high voltage monitor, which allows for pre-charging of the power supply. The device can be configured with either low side, high side or simultaneous high and low side control.

The AON7804 contains four independent power MOSFETs with a common source gate. Each of the MOSFETs is manufactured with a low on-state resistance, resulting in high efficiency during operation. The gate of each MOSFET is controlled directly by a gate driver, allowing for a fast and versatile turn-off of the device. Each of the MOSFETs is controlled through a common low voltage control signal, translating easy microcontroller control into power consumption control.

The AON7804 is engineered for both stationary and high switching frequency applications.The device includes built-in function for optimized balance between fast switching and efficient conduction. This helps reduce power loss and system’ EMI, allowing compliance to multiple EMC standards. It also maximizes efficiency of the device and the system, allowing for excellent energy efficiency. The device features adjustable voltage control and as an option, extensible current sense thresholds and fault reporting.
