AOZ1057AI is a synchronous buck regulator with a wide input voltage range that provides high efficiency and low output ripple under light loads. It can be used to step down voltage from a higher voltage bus to a lower voltage bus, or in multiple voltage supply applications. The AOZ1057AI is a highly integrated power conversion solution, capable of supplying up to 10A continuous output current without significant heat dissipation, and up to 15A of output current with external components and heat dissipation.The AOZ1057AI features an integrated high-performance controller, high-side MOSFET, low-side MOSFET, operating voltages, enable input, and temperature protection. The AOZ1057AI offers a wide input voltage range of 5.5V to 20V with a low minimum on time of 200ns, allowing it to start up quickly and easily generate high current. The AOZ1057AI also features flexible frequency synchronization and inrush current limiting capability.The AOZ1057AI employs an advanced synchronous buck topology with a peak current mode control scheme to provide high efficiency, low output impedance, and excellent transient response. Its programmable operating frequency and synchronizable frequency range of up to 1MHz provides design flexibility for application-specific power requirements. The AOZ1057AI uses an on-chip high-side switching device, low-side switching device, a low RDSon integrated high-side MOSFET, and a low RDSon integrated low-side MOSFET, which helps reduce component count, as well as improve power efficiency and thermal performance.The AOZ1057AI is available in 4-pin SOT-23 package, with a power-on-reset (POR) function to ensure the load is off at power up.
