This makes it ideal for a variety of applications and it is capable of handling multiple tasks at once.The ATSAM3N1CA-CU MCU operates on a voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V and is powered by a 32-bit ARM Cortex®-M3 core, with a maximum clock frequency of 48MHz. It uses a static memory controller (SMC) for Flash and SRAM for data transfer and access. The MCU also has an integrated Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) on board, called the C PLC. It can be used for on-chip programming and debugging, providing a convenient platform for quick and easy machine and systems control.The ATSAM3N1CA-CU MCU is widely used in industrial, automotive, communications and consumer electronics fields as it is capable of handling a range of tasks with high performance. This includes smart energy management, engine control, automotive security, radio communication, industrial automation, motion control, audio/video processing, and many more.In application field, ATSAM3N1CA-CU MCU can be used in a range of fields. It has an 8-channel, 8-bit 16-bit General Purpose Timer (GPT) and a 32-bit timer. The GPT has four timer channels, each of which can be independently configured to produce up to eight 96-bit capture or compare events with two 16-bit wide counters. The 32-bit timer is capable of directly generating up to eight 32-bit compare or capture values. These timers can be used to generate complex or simple timing signals or to measure events or signals.The ATSAM3N1CA-CU also comes with two dedicated peripherals for motor control applications. One is the Motor Control Module (MCM) and the other is the Direct Pwm Controller (DPC). The MCM provides a simple yet powerful interface to control and monitor the current, position and speed of the motor, while the DPC is specifically dedicated to PWM control and pulse width modulation technique.In addition to its On-Chip peripherals, ATSAM3N1CA-CU also supports up to 32KB SRAM, 32KB Flash Memory controller, four Inter Integrate Circuit (I²C) buses, one Two-wire Interface (TWI), and a Universal Serial Bus (USB).
