ATSAMV71N21B-CBTThe ATSAMV71N21B-CBT is a 32-bit microcontroller from Atmel Corporation. It is part of their Atmel AVR line of products and is designed as a system on chip (SoC) with integrated components to allow embedded designers to solve their application needs. It has a wide variety of specialized peripherals including embedded SRAM, flash memory, a real-time clock counter, advanced PWM controller, digital signal processing and UART, CAN, and many more. The ATSAMV71N21B-CBT has been used in a wide number of applications, including medical, industrial, automotive and consumer products.As a 32-bit microcontroller, the ATSAMV71N21B-CBT is at the higher end of embedded microprocessor technology. It is capable of executing instructions at speeds up to 120 MHz operating at full performance. The integrated peripherals are programmed through a development platform, Atmel Studio, that allows embedded developers to quickly and easily identify and debug any issues found in their code. The ATSAMV71N21B-CBT also has advanced features that enables an embedded designer to rapidly develop and innovate their applications.The ATSAMV71N21B-CBT is based on a Harvard architecture. It contains two separate memories: the program memory and the data memory. The program memory is reprogrammable while the data memory is used to store user-defined information. The program memory is divided into four sectors with each sector being 256 bytes in size.
