The working principle of BQ24005PWPRG4 is fairly simple. When the battery voltage is below the pre-set charge voltage threshold, the charging current is set to the configured maximum, and the charger chip will start charging the battery with constant current. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger chip will switch to the standby mode, shutting down all the circuitry until the Standby Current Enable (SCE) is triggered.
