When a negative pressure is applied, an additional transistor (F) is used to allow current to flow in the opposite direction, creating the opposite voltage bias at pin 3.

The CGH27015F also has two output pins: the true pressure output pin (pin 5) and the normalized pressure output pin (pin 6). The true pressure output is a linear voltage proportional to the pressure, while the normalized pressure output is a non-linear voltage proportional to the pressure. The difference between these two outputs is due to the non-linearities of the transistors in the circuit.
