Optoisolators – Transistor, Photovoltaic Output – are popular optoelectronic components that consist of a photodetector and an optocoupler. By connecting a photodetector and an optocoupler, electrical signals can be transmitted and received without any physical contact between the two objects. This benefit is due to the inherent characteristics of optoisolator technology, which allow for an electrical field to be transferred from one side of the isolator to the other, and for data to be protected from any external interference. CNY173M optoisolators are particularly well-suited for applications wherein isolation of the signal is of paramount importance.

All CNY173M optoisolators feature a high working voltage (greater than 200 volts) and a high dielectric strength (greater than 4 kVAC), making them well suited for high-voltage applications such as Industrial Control Systems, Building Automation Systems, and Power Supplies.
