The DC997B-D is an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) Evaluation board. The evaluation board is designed to interface with an external ADC and allow users to quickly and easily verify ADC performance. The evaluation board makes use of BNC-connectors for standardized interfacing and includes two switchable (3.3V to 5V) power supplies as well as current limiting resistors for ADC outputs. It also features an adjustable gain and a built-in reference voltage generator.

DC997B-D working principle:

The DC997B-D is a precision board which utilizes a two-stage gain configuration. The first stage is the variable gain stage which can be adjusted between 0.1V/V and 20V/V for a pre-scaling of the analog input signal. The second stage consists of the reference voltage generator, which outputs the ADC reference voltage. This reference voltage is adjustable between 3.6V and 5V depending on the state of the two on-board switches. Once the analog input signal passes through the two-stage gain configuration, it is directed to the ADC analog input. The ADC output is then routed to the evaluation board\'s output connectors where it can be analyzed and compared with the expected ADC output.
