The DC997B-F Evaluation Board is a powerful analog to digital converter (ADC). The board enables engineers and scientists to evaluate the performance of their applications in terms of speed, accuracy and resolution of the device. The DC997B-F Evaluation Board provides a versatile platform for ADCs ranging from 10-bit to 12-bit resolution and sampling speeds from 20 KHz to 20MHz. It is available in two variants: The DC997B-F2 for the DC590B/DC590A/DC590E/DC590F and the DC997B-F3 for the DC591A/DC591B/DC591E/DC591F. The DC997B-F2 supports 1-channel differential, 1-channel single-ended, and 1/2-channel single-ended operation while the DC997B-F3 supports 2-channel differential and 1/2-channel single-ended operation.
The DC997B-F Evaluation Board comes with a power supply, a CD-ROM, a user manual, a set of instruction and connection cards, and control software with a graphical user interface. It has two built-in LED indicators that signal power-on and digital output status. The board packages solderless connections and on-board support for external components, which allow experiments and measurements to be easily done with minimum effort.
The DC997B-F Evaluation Board features the chip select/data ready (CS/DR) inputs, a clock input, four digital outputs, and two analog inputs. The analog inputs can be configured to select between the differential or the single-ended operating modes. The board accepts a wide range of input voltage ranges from ±3 to ±15V.
