The DG301ACJ is a general purpose, dual-channel monolithicsolution for a range of analog switch applications. It isdesigned to operate in a variety of environments and provideslow on-resistance to both channels. Additionally, it providesreliable switching operation in both directions.
The DG301ACJ is ideal for use in a variety of analogswitch applications such as analog multiplexers,demultiplexers, mux/demux, switch matrixes and analogdecoders. It also provides exceptional performance inother applications such as signal conditioning, signal matchingand signal conditioning.
The DG301ACJ operates by using two independent, subtractiveMOSFETs to switch a common point between two inputs. TheMOSFETs are connected in parallel and a control voltage isused to control their on-state and off-state resistance. Thecontrol voltage can be an analog signal or a logic signalprovided by a microcontroller. The device can thus be usedto switch between two compatible signals, or to providecoarse level selection of a signal.
The DG301ACJ provides two channels that can be used eitherindependently or together. The two channels offer differentcharacteristics and can be configured as either single-endedor differential configurations. This makes it ideal forapplications that require signals to be multiplexed orswitched while maintaining signal integrity and reliability.The device can also be used as a signal level switch toselect the output level of a signal.
The DG301ACJ provides excellent on-resistanceperformance, offering low total on-resistance (RON) in bothchannels. Furthermore, the device is designed for low powerconsumption so that it can be used in battery-powered systemsas well.
