DG612DJ-E3 are high performance, low power, CMOS analog multiplexers/demultiplexers with ESD protection that allows very low current drain and the unique features of fast switching, low ON resistance and low OFF leakage. The device is a monolithic CMOS device with a 5V supply that is capable of providing low-noise signal level conversion up to 32V. It has extended temperature range and is designed for applications for switching and multiplexing of single-ended signals.
The device has an integrated ESD protection circuit and can be used for signal path switching. The input protection circuit consists of a 10kΩΩ resistive termination in line with the supply voltage terminal, which provides a high degree of protection from static discharges. The ESD protection circuit isolates the analog input from the control logic and prevents unexpected device failures. The device also features over voltage protection on the control inputs to prevent unintentional switching when the control voltage exceeds the supply.
