It can be used as a singular switch, multiplexer, or demultiplexer. It can also be used as a double-pole/double-throw (dpdt) switch. Designed for signal switching applications, the DG613DY-T1 provides low signal loss and high signal integrity for signal switching up to 5 GHz.The DG613DY-T1’s application field covers a variety of data communication and signal processing systems like ADSL,WiFi, base stations and indoor wiring. It ensures signal integrity and low loss with its low on-resistance and high-speed capabilities. It’s commonly used as a signal selector, switch, or multiplexer in RF, microwave, and analog applications.The device’s working principle is based on a GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) process that features two switching cores and two control control lines. When the control lines go into logic “1”, the normally open switch is closed, and the normally closed switch is open. Thus, the device’s switching path is closed. Conversely, when the control line goes into a logic “0”, the normally closed switch is closed, and the normally open switch is open. This is the working principle of the DG613DY-T1.Along with its low on-resistance capability, the DG613DY-T1 also exhibits very low power consumption—typically, less than 2 mW. The device has a minimum load capacitance of 15pF, and its switching time is less than 10 nanoseconds.
