The DMA261060R is a state of the art, pre-biased, transistor array from the DMA series. It is designed to provide a simple and efficient solution to many of the problems posed when dealing with complex, multi-transistor circuits. The DMA261060R is a 60V pre-biased array consisting of four NPN transistors in a compact TO-220 package. The transistors are rated for devices up to 115A (max. continuous) and offer excellent circuit protection in a variety of devices with high current applications.

The main advantage of the DMA261060R is that it integrates a set of transistors in one package, effectively reducing PCB space and cost, while providing superior performance and increased reliability. The integrated silicon NPN transistors are capable of handling both high current and voltage to produce a far more efficient circuit than would be possible using multiple transistors. By utilizing the pre-biased transistors, additional components, such as resistors, capacitors and diodes, are not required. This also increases device performance as the design complexity of the circuit is lowered.

When operating, the DMA261060R maintains its pre-biased state by the means of two independent control signals which can be used to adjust the current within the circuit. The control signals are used to set the base current level. This allows for precise current regulation and thermal stabilization when high current devices are employed. The thermal stability is further enhanced by the thermal resistors located between the transistor layers.
