EPC9511 is a very versatile Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit. It is powered by the Cypress EZ-USB EZ-USB FX3 MCU, and is designed to evaluate peripheral functions and I/O signals. The board is suitable for testing and development of various applications, such as USB 3.0, USB 3.1, camera applications, and power supplies.The EPC9511 has a supply voltage of 12 volts DC or 5 volts AC, and features three USB 2.0 Type-A ports. Its on-board peripherals include an FTDI 2232H USB-UART, an LCM 7 segment display, GPIO, a CN5020 4-lane CMOS sensor, an FT6206 touch controller, an EPCS4E PROM, and an FX3 Microcontroller. The board also has several solder jumpers and test points for easy testing and debugging. The board also has an ID area where up to 32 bytes of data can be written to describe the type of application or product the board is used for. This data is then stored in non-volatile memory and can be read back before use to identify the board for further analysis or debugging.
