The EVAL6928D is an evaluation board designed by ON Semiconductor to evaluate and demonstrate the performance of its integrated current mode PFC/PWM controllers. It provides ac-dc offline converters with a power factor correction system that complies with the International Harmonic Reduction (IHR) standards. The evaluation board works as a proof-of-concept development and is suitable for constant output voltage, constant output current application. Moreover, the board is capable of demonstrating advanced features such as auto power factor correcting and dual pre-biased function.
The EVAL6928D board and its components are composed of the current mode PFC/PWM controllers, boost diode, boost inductor, bulk storage capacitors and several other parts.
