The EVALSTGAP2SCM is an evaluation and demonstration board which has been developed to evaluate and demonstrate the SenseCAP 2 LoRa Sensor Node SoC and its own on-board peripherals and functions. The SenseCAP 2 LoRa Sensor Node SoC is a low-power, wireless, low-cost, and multi-functional sensor node solution for smart applications including either a LoRaWan capability or Embedded LPWAN applications. It supports up to 8 channels of analog or digital sensor data collection and can be connected to any external interface. With these up to 8 channels of analog or digital data collection, the EVALSTGAP2SCM provides an ideal platform for testing the performance, reliability, and scalability of the SenseCAP 2 LoRa Sensor Node SoC in various applications.
The EVALSTGAP2SCM working principle is based on the SenseCAP 2 LoRa Sensor Node SoC. The SenseCAP 2 embeds dual-mode radio-frequency systems, a 32-bit ARM Cortex®-M4 processor, an AES-128 realized FIFO, and provides up to 8 channels of analog or digital sensor data collection. This Cortex-M4 processor is designed for maximum sustained performance with minimal energy consumption, so it is suitable for long-term, low-power sensor and embedded applications.
To ensure maximum reliability and scalability, the EVALSTGAP2SCM is equipped with an extensive set of embedded peripherals. The embedded I2C, UART, and SPI interfaces provide a system-wide interconnectivity for seamless integration with a variety of external devices. The board also has an LED interface, two push-button switches, and seven EDGE Sensor Modules, which enables users to quickly and conveniently evaluate and demonstrate the SenseCAP 2 LoRa Sensor Node SoC.
In addition to the basic peripherals, the EVALSTGAP2SCM also provides an on-board real-time clock, a power management controller, and an on-board USB interface, which allows for efficient data exchange and streamlined system debug processes. Moreover, with the support for the Seeed Cloud Platform and SenseCAP Studio, remotely monitoring and controlling of the EVALSTGAP2SCM is conveniently possible.
