GP1006HC0G are part of the larger family of diodes, rectifiers and rectifier arrays. They are designed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) caused by the rectification of alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). GP1006HC0G are made up of two sub blocks; a switch and a free wheeling diode. The switch\'s conduction current is zero when it is in the off state and it is able to be switched on and off with a voltage signal. The diode is a constant voltage device, meaning that it offers a constant voltage drop between two terminals.
