Optoisolators - Triac, SCR OutputThe IL4118-X006 is an opto-isolator designed for use in the triac and SCR output circuits of various applications. The device is based on an ultra sensitive and thermally stable photo-electric current source, hence it offers reliable performance and accuracy.The IL4118-X006 features a wide operating voltage range from 10V to 32V and is capable of providing current up to 200mA. It is applied as an optical component to replace the mechanical contacts used in relays, switches, motor starters, and other applications which require efficient and long lasting construction. The device is able to control pulse duration and their shape, thus providing high frequency operation for pulse chasing applications.The IL4118-X006 employs a triac or SCR output which is triggered by a current source that crosses a defined threshold. It is commonly found in a wide range of professional appliances, such as industrial controllers, military systems, process control, lighting, automation systems, audio and video systems, among others. The IL4118-X006 is designed with exceptionally low propagation delay, fast switching speeds, and low output capacitance.
