Memory is an important component in today\'s digital electronics. IS25LP016D-JKLE is a non-volatile memory integrated circuit from ISSI (Integrated Silicon Solution Inc.). It is a 16Mbit (2MByte) Dual-I/O Serial Flash memory designed for the low power and low voltage operation with 2.7V to 3.6V power supply. Additional features include a full-time hardware write protection enable, low power consumption, and reliable data retention of up to 20 years.
The working principle of the IS25LP016D-JKLE memory is based on EEPROM technology, which uses electrons stored in an insulated charge pump to maintain information on the chip. It also utilizes a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), a standard three-wire interface that facilitates communication with the memory.
