The IS25WP016-JBLE-TR is suitable for a wide range of automotive applications, including infotainment systems, HVAC systems, vehicle body control modules and tire pressure monitoring systems. It offers high density memory, fast page and block erase times with low power consumption, thus allowing for improved performance in computing environments.

The device features an SPI-compatible interface and a proprietary Control Center bus for optimized automotive systems. It also supports the latest high-speed Dual-Output Classic SPI bus, which provides an optimal data transfer speed and improved system performance by eliminating the need for an external flash memory buffer. The device also supports high performance Quad-Output SPI interface and Octal-Output SPI interfaces.

The IS25WP016-JBLE-TR works by using a unique combination of NAND and MirrorBit Flash technologies to store data in a non-volatile memory array. Data is written to the memory array by applying an appropriate command sequence and then toggling the device\'s control pins (CS# and WP#). Any data that is written to the array can be read back at any time, regardless of power state or operating temperature. The memory array of the IS25WP016-JBLE-TR is organized as 128 pages of 128 bytes each, or 16,384 bytes of total memory. It offers write protection for specified portions of the array, allowing for secure data storage.

The IS25WP016-JBLE-TR also features an integrated ECC (Error Code Correct) system for improved reliability and data integrity. The ECC system is designed to detect and correct errors that may occur during data write and read operations. Therefore, it ensures that the data stored in the device is always accurate and reliable.
