The IS61C5128AS-25TLI is a 128Kx8bit low power and high performance Static RAMs (SRAMs) which offer fast access time and low active power. These SRAMs are ideal for applications such as mobile phones, PDAs, gaming consoles and laptop computers. They are also suitable for use in compact devices that require minimal power. This SRAM is available in three different package types such as LQFP, TFBGA and TSOP.
The IS61C5128AS-25TLI uses a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) process for fabricating the device and uses a voltage range of 2.4 to 2.9V. The device has a programmable real time clock/calendar, an internal 2K-word read/write RAM, and an internal power down controller. The device has two power-saving modes: Sleep and Power Down. In Sleep mode, the device is put in idle by setting a single bit, while in Power Down mode the device is completely shut off and the clock is stopped to reduce power consumption. The device features a typical access time of 25ns and a typical standby current of 10uA.
The IS61C5128AS-25TLI is a nonvolatile SRAM meaning that it can retain data without the need for an external power source.
