.The IXDE509SIA is an integrated gate driver integrated circuit that is designed to drive the gates of high- and medium- power MOSFETs or IGBTs. It offers 5 A peak current high-side and 5 A peak current low-side outputs. Its reverse-blocking capability (reverse operation protection) and the associated control circuitry guarantee that the high-side switch is only enabled after the low-side switch is disabled. The logic levels of these pins can be either TTL- or CMOS-compatible (3.3V or 5V). There is also an EN pin to enable or disable the device.The operation of the IXDE509SIA is based on an advanced, proprietary high-performance, low-noise, high-side/low-side drive architecture with integrated switch control, current-sensing, and internal regulation. The IXDE509SIA provides a 5A peak current high-side output, as well as a 5A peak current low-side output. This allows it to drive high-power FETs and IGBTs. Both the high- and low-side outputs are connected to a floating bootstrap bus.The IXDE509SIA features an on-board controller that manages the operation of the high-side and low-side switches.
