IXDF402SI Working Principle:

IXDF402SI contains a full bridge driver composed of four discrete drivers. Each driver can provide up to 2A load current. The output voltage range of the driver is 0V-10V with a 10V swing voltage, which is sufficient to drive the most widely used IGBTs, power MOSFETs, and power diodes without fail.

The input is galvanically isolated, allowing it to be able to detect failure or overvoltage conditions easily. The driver is designed with two gate drivers integrated on top of the same PCB. The upper gate driver is an isolated NC (normally closed) position, which is used for soft-start and predictive maintenance during motor operations. The cheaper NC gate driver is optimal for single-phase motor applications.
