The LM25037MTX/NOPB is a voltage regulator within the larger PMIC-VRC-DC DC Switching Controllers category. It is a Simple Switcher® synchronous Buck controller with a constant frequency current mode architecture. The LM25037MTX/NOPB is designed to provide a high efficiency, low cost, easy to use solution for supplying systems that require a constant output voltage and a total output power up to 38 W. It features an internal 70 mΩ Rds(on) high-side MOSFET, as well as pre-bias start up and under-voltage lockout. It supports a wide input voltage of 4.5V to 60V, making it suitable for automotive and other applications. With its powerful performance, the LM25037MTX/NOPB is an ideal solution for applications such as automotive on-board chargers, DC-DC converters, and power supplies.

The LM25037MTX/NOPB includes a majority of features which make it a powerful device to use in applications. It includes over-voltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, over-temperature protection, and programmable soft-start. The adjustable switching frequency allows designers the freedom to increase efficiency and reduce noise in a desired application. The constant frequency current mode architecture provides a low output ripple and good transient performance, which is designed to minimize output capacitance. The LM25037MTX/NOPB also comes with an adjustable maximum duty cycle of 75-100%, allowing for higher buck conversion ratios.

The internal high-side MOSFET reduces board area and the internal UVLO lowers the bill of material costs.
